Human Resources Project Manager IV

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Program Manager to join the Human Resources Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing several enterprise-wide HR Projects as well as implementing new HR processes and technology as a Project Leader.
This role is located in Torrey Pines, CA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for leading multiple enterprise-wide Programs and Projects within HR. • HR Project Leader for future work process and system implementations identified on the HR Technology Roadmap. • Create SOP’s, Work Instructions, and related process documentation for all Programs and Systems you are responsible for. Contribute to the development and design of new policies and work processes, and provide ongoing enhancements to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Deliver Program and process training across the HR organization and actively participate in Project Improvement Workgroups to incorporate enhancements that improve service deliverables. • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement system and process enhancements, optimize functionality, and ensure Service Level Agreements are met. • Performs non-technical Program Management and project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. • Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget. • Create and maintain related process documentation for HR Programs and Systems within scope of responsibility. • Through customer focused Program Management and data analytics, identify opportunities for improvement, innovate service offerings, and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. • Lead Program Reviews with Business stakeholders. • Deliver program and process training across the enterprise that improve service deliverables. • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including IT, HR Teams, HRIS, and Contracts & Purchasing, to implement program and business process enhancements, optimize functionality, and ensure Service Level Agreements are met. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training or a related discipline and ten or more years of progressive professional experience in a corporate Human Resources department. May substitute a certificate in human resources from a recognized organization and equivalent experience in lieu of education. • Demonstrates an extensive technical expertise and application of human resource principles, theories, concepts and practices, with the ability to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones with some experience in project leadership. • Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex matters of diverse scope and nature • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including senior management and senior external parties • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees, including senior managers and senior external parties • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information • Initiate, plan, and manage projects • Represent the company on external projects • SAP SuccessFactors experience is preferred. Desired Qualifications: • PMP Certification is desired. • A strong track-record of delivering strategic Human Resources programs in a program management role. • Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to tell a cohesive, concise, and compelling story in written and verbal form, using data to support decisions and proposals. • Experience in navigating complex, matrixed environment with ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. • Experience in building, implementing, and sustaining programs and showing direct, positive linkages to the achievement of business strategy. • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. • Other duties as assigned or required.
