System Integration Specialist – S4 & WMS

To support this journey, we are seeking a System Integration Specialist – S4 & WMS who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and monitoring real-time system integration, end-to-end data flows, and data migration activities between SAP S/4HANA and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). The System Integration Specialist – S4 & WMS role ensures seamless communication between core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) frameworks and internal/external warehouse execution platforms (such as SAP EWM/WM or 3PL WMS). Acting as the technical authority for warehouse integrations, the Specialist oversees queue execution, message processing, interface mapping, data synchronization, and technical incident resolution to guarantee uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Your tasks in detail: • System Integration Management & Architecture

• Technical oversight of all integration points between SAP S/4HANA (SD/MM/LES/eWM) and internal or third-party Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). • Manage, configure, and optimize middleware interfaces, API calls, IDoc queues, and web services (REST/SOAP) enabling real-time warehouse data exchange. • Ensure structural synchronization of master and transactional data (e.g., inbound/outbound delivery notices, goods receipts, stock movements, picking status, and inventory adjustments). • Data Flow Monitoring & Operational Governance

• Continuously monitor automated data pipelines, interface health, queue locks (tRFC/qRFC), and XML message processing to ensure high system availability. • Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical integration failures, interface drops, and data discrepancies across environments. • Establish alert mechanisms and automated health-checks for data flow integrity between SAP S/4HANA and peripheral logistics platforms. • Data Migration & System Rollouts
• Plan, execute, and validate data migration streams for warehouse master data, open inventory, and transactional records during SAP S/4HANA upgrades or new warehouse implementations. • Define and execute data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading (ETL) routines using SAP legacy data tools (e.g., LTMC, Migration Cockpit, LSMW, SAP Data Services). • Perform cutover planning, data reconciliation, and post-migration validation to support seamless system go-lives. • Technical Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance
• Perform deep technical analysis and root-cause determination for integration bottlenecks, data corruption, or synchronization failures. • Lead end-to-end integration testing (UAT, regression, and performance/stress testing) for new interface releases, system enhancements, and SAP patches. • Partner with technical developers, basis admins, and external vendor software engineering teams to resolve core bugs and optimize interface code/mappings. • Continuous Improvement & Documentation
• Document integration designs, data flow diagrams, technical specifications, and cutover playbooks. • Drive continuous performance tuning of integration queries and interfaces to support high-throughput, real-time logistics operations. • Ensure alignment with corporate IT governance, data privacy, and IT security protocols.
Skills you need to be part of the team: • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on technical experience in SAP system integration, focusing specifically on SAP Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) and S/4HANA integration frameworks. • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Supply Chain Systems. • SAP Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules (EWM, WM, MM, SD, LES), IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, ABAP debugging, and transactional processing. • WMS & Integration Tooling: Hands-on experience with modern middleware platforms (e.g., SAP Integration Suite / CPI, MuleSoft, Boomi, SAP PO/PI) and protocols (REST, OData, SOAP, FTP/SFTP). • Data Migration Mastery: Proven track record in complex data migration execution using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LTMC, or specialized ETL frameworks. • Ecosystem Experience: Prior experience in FMCG, temperature-controlled logistics, or multi-site Global Business Services (GBS) / Shared Services environments is highly desirable.
