Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking an IT Facility Project Manager to support the Department of War (DoW) High-Performance Computing Modernization Program (DoW HPCMP) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The successful candidate will manage facility infrastructure and modernization projects supporting high-performance computing (HPC) engineering and operations.

This role manages technical projects involving facility infrastructure supporting mission-critical HPC operations and serves as the liaison between project management, Facilities, technical teams, government stakeholders, engineering organizations, and contractors. Responsibilities include: • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables. • Coordinate electrical, mechanical, power, cooling, and facility modernization projects supporting HPC operations. • Coordinate site preparation and facility requirements for technology insertions, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrades. • Monitor project performance, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and provide status reporting to management and stakeholders. • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, outages, and contractor activities to minimize mission impact. • Maintain project schedules, technical documentation, action items, and facility configuration information. • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams and stakeholders. • Perform Facility Engineer functions in the absence of Facilities personnel or as mission requirements dictate.

Required Skills and Education: • Active Top Secret security clearance. • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree. • Experience supporting facility infrastructure in an HPC, data center, mission-critical IT, or similar technical environment. • Experience coordinating facility infrastructure, modernization, construction, or technical projects. • Working knowledge of electrical distribution, backup power, cooling, mechanical, and facility monitoring systems. • Experience coordinating technical teams, government stakeholders, engineering organizations, vendors, and contractors. • Ability to manage schedules, priorities, risks, documentation, and multiple concurrent projects. • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills and Education: • Bachelor’s Degree and four or more years of relevant project management, facility engineering, HPC, or IT infrastructure experience. • Experience supporting DoW HPCMP or comparable HPC/data environments. • Experience with large-scale electrical, mechanical, cooling, backup power, and facility modernization projects. • Experience supporting HPC technology insertions, site preparation, equipment installations, or infrastructure upgrades. • Experience conducting facility inspections, infrastructure assessments, and corrective actions. • Knowledge of applicable DoW and Air Force facility, safety, environmental, and infrastructure requirements. • Experience supporting classified or mission-critical DoW facilities. • Familiarity with AutoCAD, facility monitoring/building automation systems, or related facility engineering tools.
