Were recruiting: FREC 3 First Responders | FREC 4 Emergency Care Assistants | HCPC Paramedics / Clinical Leads
This isnt traditional daytime event first aid. Youll work within busy nightlife environments alongside clinical colleagues, security, welfare teams and venue managementproviding medical care, supporting vulnerable people and helping keep people safe throughout the night.
Regular evening and late-night shifts available.
Main duties of the job
XL Team is recruiting FREC 4 qualified Emergency Care Assistants to support our specialist Evening & Night-Time Economy medical services.
Working alongside First Responders and Registered Paramedics, you will provide enhanced assessment, treatment and monitoring of patients presenting within student nightlife and entertainment environments.

Job description Job responsibilities
Undertake structured patient assessments. Obtain and monitor clinical observations. Recognise serious illness and injury. Provide emergency care within your scope of practice. Manage medical and trauma presentations. Support alcohol and substance-related presentations. Monitor and reassess patients within treatment facilities. Support resuscitation and time-critical emergencies. Identify patients requiring Paramedic or NHS escalation. Support welfare and safeguarding interventions. Provide structured clinical handovers. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Support First Responders and junior team members.
Person Specification
Knowledge and Skills Essential
Essential: FREC 4 or recognised equivalent, appropriate current clinical competencies and evidence of ongoing CPD.
Desirable
Desirable: Previous NTE, event medical, ambulance, venue or festival experience.
