Main duties of the job The Nursing Care Manager at Avery Healthcare will ensure effective nursing care delivery to residents at Hampstead Court Care Home, London. Responsibilities include coordinating resident assessments to ensure care plans reflect residents' needs and preferences, managing communication between staff using appropriate methods, overseeing the nursing team management, and supporting team members through regular supervisions and performance plans. Ideal candidates must hold a Registered Nurse qualification, have 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in elderly care, management experience, and knowledge of CQC Standards. ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Nursing Care Manager will be to ensure the delivery of effective nursing care to residents in a nursing home and to directly manage the Registered General Nurses on your team.

Other responsibilities will include:

Co-ordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring that the plan of care is accurate and reflected in the care needs summary, the resident is involved in identifying needs and preferences, and integration of all information into a person-centred care plan Ensure that all relevant information in respect of each resident is communicated using the most appropriate method, e.g. APB, Handover, MCM, to the proper members of staff to achieve delivery of a person-centred approach Overall responsibility for the management of the Nursing Team, introducing effective mechanisms for communication, such as team meetings, communication boards, etc. Arranging such meetings, organising agendas, attendance, outcomes, actions, minutes Support, guide and develop their team members by carrying out regular supervisions/one-to-ones and yearly reviews and support individual performance management plans for identified staff.ABOUT YOU

Hold a Registered Nurse qualification. Have 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience, with evidence of ongoing professional development in elderly care or a relevant field. Possess previous management experience and a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards. Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

The candidate must hold a Registered Nurse qualification, have 2 to 3 years post-qualification experience in elderly care, demonstrate ongoing professional development, possess management experience, and understand CQC Fundamental Standards. Strong communication and interpersonal management skills are required.
