Main duties of the job As a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you'll play a key role in supporting our dining services. This role involves assisting residents with their meals, supporting them in choosing their meal options, and ensuring dining tables are set in line with our standard procedures. Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the day, including removing and replenishing dirty crockery, is also essential. You'll also ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, and other finger foods are accessible and replenished. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, committed to excellent culinary service delivery, and demonstrates high personal hygiene standards. While experience in similar settings such as a restaurant or hotel is desirable, a basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.
Other responsibilities will include:
Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining. Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options. Being aware of residents dietary requirements.

Qualifications Essential
High standards of personal hygiene, compassion and commitment to culinary service delivery, experience in a similar setting (restaurant or hotel), and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial
