About this role

Position Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Technical Support Representative to provide support for proprietary large-format X-ray systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to confidently manage customer interactions, and a foundational technical understanding of Windows environments and application support. This role is highly client-facing and requires someone who can remain composed under pressure while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance and support. • Manage customer interactions professionally, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and strong communication skills. • Handle critical and challenging customer situations while maintaining composure and control of the conversation. • Provide support for Windows-based applications, including troubleshooting file structures, system navigation, and application-related issues. • Assist with database-related support tasks and troubleshooting activities. • Diagnose and resolve technical issues or escalate complex problems to appropriate internal teams. • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure timely issue resolution. • Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system. • Participate in a comprehensive 5-week training program to learn proprietary systems, products, and support processes. • Manage an average call volume of 13-15 customer calls per day while maintaining high service standards. Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role such as technical support, customer service, help desk, or client support. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. • Proven ability to manage difficult conversations and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations. • Experience working in a Windows environment. • Understanding of file structures, file management, and general application support. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to learn new technologies and proprietary systems quickly. • Excellent customer service mindset with a compassionate and patient approach. Preferred Qualifications

• Prior technical support or help desk experience. • Exposure to database systems and database-related troubleshooting. • Experience supporting software applications in a customer-facing environment. • Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes. Top Skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
