About this role

Job Title: Production SupervisorJob DescriptionThe Production Supervisor oversees high-volume manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production output. This role leads a production team in a fabrication and assembly environment, with a strong focus on process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, and 5S best practices. The supervisor applies technical aptitude and strong organizational skills to coordinate resources, manage multiple tasks, and support continuous improvement initiatives, particularly within aerospace-related manufacturing involving composite materials.Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations in a high-volume production environment to ensure on-time, high-quality output. • Lead and coordinate fabrication and assembly activities in a manufacturing setting, including work with composite materials. • Oversee and support production staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and guidance to meet production goals. • Implement and maintain Lean Six Sigma and 5S best practices to drive process improvements and reduce waste. • Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and throughput. • Use analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate production issues and develop effective solutions. • Ensure accurate use of ERP and SAP systems for production planning, scheduling, and reporting. • Coordinate fabrication inspection and assembly activities to meet quality standards and customer requirements. • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on priorities, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement. • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines and production targets. • Maintain a safe and orderly work area in accordance with 5S principles and company standards. • Support and promote process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. Essential Skills

• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment. • Supervisory experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting (commercial or defense) preferred. • Hands-on fabrication and assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge and experience working with composite materials preferred. • Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. • Experience implementing and sustaining 5S best practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective and professional communication skills. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. • Proven technical aptitude in a manufacturing or production environment. • Experience using ERP systems, including SAP, in a production context. • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. • Back ground in aerospace (commercial or defense) production environments is highly desirable. • Experience with fabrication inspection and assembly processes. • Familiarity with standard manufacturing metrics and performance tracking. • Comfort working in a bilingual environment and communicating with diverse teams.
