As a Global US Payroll Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the people lifecycle and day-to-day operational tasks related to employee management, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. Within our Managed Services practice, you will be a primary HR point of contact, resolving inquiries and guiding complex business issues from strategy to execution. This role is client-facing, requiring you to leverage your skills and professional networks to deliver quality results.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead large projects and innovate processes, focusing on achieving results and maintaining operational excellence. You will motivate and coach teams to solve complex problems, applying sound judgment and recognizing when to take action or escalate. Your ability to develop and sustain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams contributes to the success of our firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will craft and convey clear, impactful messages, apply systems thinking to identify opportunities, and validate outcomes with clients, sharing alternative perspectives and acting on feedback.
Responsibilities
- Leading the management of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and payroll administration - Overseeing compliance with labor laws and regulations to maintain operational integrity - Coordinating the resolution and escalation of HR inquiries, acting as a primary point of contact - Implementing process improvements to enhance HR service delivery and efficiency - Managing employee data and records with confidentiality and accuracy - Developing and coaching teams to solve complex HR-related issues and drive strategic initiatives - Applying systems thinking to identify and address underlying HR challenges and opportunities - Crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages to stakeholders, fostering open communication - Validating outcomes with clients and incorporating feedback to refine HR processes - Directing teams through complex situations, maintaining composure and strategic focus
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 6 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required
