Job Title: Traveling Site SuperintendentJob DescriptionThe Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This individual must be capable of running projects independently with minimal oversight. Responsibilities • Manage all field operations from project start through completion. • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries. • Maintain project schedules and ensure milestone completion. • Conduct daily site inspections and quality control reviews. • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards. • Communicate project updates to project managers, clients, and stakeholders. • Resolve field issues and identify solutions proactively. • Review construction drawings and project specifications. • Document daily reports and project progress. • Coordinate project closeout and punch list completion. • Participate in project turnover and pre-construction planning meetings. Essential Skills • 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience. • Experience managing interior renovations, retail buildouts, or tenant improvements. • Ability to independently run projects. • Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills. • Knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and project coordination. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). • Valid driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working in occupied commercial settings. • Tenant renovation experience. • OSHA certifications. • Multi-site project experience. Work EnvironmentThe role involves managing projects in the field and requires flexibility to work at nights when needed. After project completion, there will be a brief reporting period at the office to prepare for the next project. A company truck and fuel card are provided, and travel and business expenses are fully covered. The work includes a 1-month training program for all new hires. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.50 - $48.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
