Job Description or Purpose

The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) is responsible for proactively engaging pharmacies, pharmacists, and key stakeholders to build relationships and identify opportunities to support customer needs. This role partners closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to execute customer outreach strategies, drive program growth, and expand customer engagement. The VSR delivers a high-quality customer experience through virtual interactions while supporting brand objectives, increasing product sales and access, and achieving established business goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic virtual outreach and engagement with key sales targets, including pharmacists, addiction treatment centers and affiliated pharmacies, higher education institutions, and Paying Management Practices

• Generate qualified leads and drive measurable purchasing opportunities by strategically navigating complex organizations to identify and engage key decision-makers

• Develop and execute strategic call plans that incorporate established reach and frequency targets while meeting or exceeding sales goals and key performance indicators

• Effectively communicate approved value propositions and benefits to customers while building and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders

• Utilize CRM and communication platforms to manage customer activity, maintain accurate call reporting, and complete required administrative tasks within established timeframes

• Collaborate with internal team members, actively participate in team meetings, and proactively share customer insights, market feedback, and best practices

• Maintain a high level of professionalism, accountability, and compliance with all company policies and procedures, including applicable reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 3+ years of inside or virtual sales experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with demonstrated and documented sales success

• Proven ability to effectively engage and influence customers in a virtual sales environment, generate sales opportunities, and achieve established sales targets and key performance indicators

• Strong business acumen with excellent communication, organizational, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of U.S. markets and/or experience working within challenging federal and state access environments

• Proficiency with CRM platforms, including Salesforce, and virtual communication technologies such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom; familiarity with RingCentral preferred

• Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and effectively manage rejection

• Innovative and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt, incorporate feedback, and identify new approaches to achieving results

• Strong sense of integrity, accountability, and reliability with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and results
