About this role
Build Partnerships. Empower Individuals. Shape Inclusive Workplaces.
At Sample Supports, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to work, thrive, and contribute to their community. As a Job Development Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in bridging the gap between individuals with disabilities and meaningful, sustainable employment.
You’ll work directly with clients to assess job readiness, build skills, and develop employment plans—while building strong relationships with community employers. You’ll be the connector who ensures that both individuals and workplaces are set up for long-term success.
To be considered for this role, you must complete the Culture Index Survey (link here). This is not a test - there are no right or wrong answers. It helps us build well-balanced teams and match people with roles where they can thrive.
What You’ll Do:
• Evaluate individuals with disabilities for job readiness and identify appropriate employment matches
• Build and maintain community partnerships with local employers
• Coordinate interviews, job placements, and onboarding processes
• Provide job coaching, skill development, and ongoing support to individuals in services
• Complete job development documentation and billing in compliance with DVR, Medicaid, and other funding sources
• Supervise and support job coaches aligned with your caseload
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and service tracking
• Develop and implement work skills training and individualized curriculum
• Advocate for client needs while supporting independence and self-determination
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and audit standards
• Respond to client needs, behavioral challenges, or crisis situations using trained NVCI techniques
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet program goals and improve service delivery
• Contribute to employment program growth through marketing and relationship-building efforts
• Provide regular communication and follow-up with clients, employers, and families
