Role
We are seeking an experienced, purpose-driven Social Media Manager to join our team full-time and grow the Herbal Goodness brand across social channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Social Media Strategy & Execution: Own the daily strategy across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, creating engaging organic posts, short-form video, and stories that grow brand awareness and engagement.
• Content Planning: Lead the master content calendar and creative direction for both our US and Nigerian audiences, balancing cultural relevance, brand messaging, and product promotion.
• Content Creation: Produce on-brand social content, including captions, graphics, reels, and stories, working with the design team or creating assets directly where possible.
• Influencer & Creator Programs: Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with micro and macro influencers on TikTok and Instagram to drive UGC (user-generated content), brand advocacy, and affiliate sales.
• Community Management: Engage actively with our audience, respond to comments and messages, and build and moderate vibrant Facebook Groups around wellness, organic living, and women's empowerment.
• Social Commerce & Revenue Growth: Use social channels as direct sales drivers through TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping, strategic giveaways, and conversion-focused community campaigns.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor key metrics (engagement rate, follower growth, influencer ROI, and social-driven sales) and use the data to continuously refine content strategy.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all social content reflects the Herbal Goodness voice, visual identity, and premium aesthetic.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, paid media, and executive leadership to align social activity with product launches and campaigns.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: 3+ years of social media management experience, ideally with a CPG, supplement, or wellness brand (agency or in-house).
• Social Platforms: Proven track record growing TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, with experience in TikTok Shop, influencer programs, and community management.
• AI & Content Tools: Comfortable using AI tools to speed up content creation, scheduling, and reporting.
• Market Knowledge: Understanding of both US and Nigerian social media culture and consumer behavior is highly valued.
• Portfolio Required: Examples of social accounts or campaigns you have managed and grown, with results where possible.
• Mindset: Self-motivated, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and deeply aligned with our purpose-driven, non-GMO, organic wellness mission.
Nice to Have
• Graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), or AI design tools.
• Video editing experience with CapCut, Premiere, or After Effects.
• Experience creating visuals for Meta ads, Amazon, or Shopify
• Position Overview In this role, you will own our organic social presence on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will plan and create engaging content, build and nurture our online community, run influencer and creator programs, and turn social channels into measurable sales drivers. Candidates who can also design their own graphics and short-form video will have a strong advantage.
