Summary:
The Manager, Business Application Management manages the daily activities of the Business Applications Management team and ensures that Contexture’s business applications are properly configured to support the workflow and productivity of Contexture’s teams. This position will drive ongoing service improvement activities and proactively seek opportunities to improve the performance of services and business applications to deliver enhanced value to the business.
This position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing business applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
• Track and drive resolution of issues and requests.
• Produce detailed timelines for each application release and implement effective project controls by monitoring the progress of the software release and reporting the status.
• Approve all business requirements prior to the technical solution.
• Participate on all hardware and software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts.
• Provides leadership to business applications analysts and administrators to ensure Contexture’s business applications properly support the workflows of the Contexture teams.
• Manage direct reports by assigning support and project tasks, ensuring that team members have the required direction, resources and training to successfully complete assigned tasks.
• Prioritize work activities for team members and communicate status to business leaders.
• Support a team of business application analysts and administrators to improve business processes and procedures for internal business stakeholders.
• Provide effective leadership to a team of business application analysts and administrators to drive tangible business outcomes.
• Manage internal stakeholders' expectations and deliver tangible results to the business unit’s you support.
• Communicate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and serve as the point of contact for 3rd party applications.
• Ensure adherence to Contexture’s IT and security guidelines, standards, methodologies and frameworks.
• Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities into the organization's application portfolio.
• Review & prioritize process improvement submissions from stakeholders.
• Collaborates with internal teams and external vendor partners to identify, implement, and maintain new business applications as needed by the organization.
• Ensures Contexture’s business application portfolio does not have duplicate or redundant applications, champions and drives application consolidation when necessary and appropriate.
• Ensures all business applications are properly updated, maintained, and secured according to applicable policies and procedures.
• Ensures legacy business applications are deprecated when no longer in use or supported.
• Participates in vendor management processes to ensure business application vendors achieve contracted SLA performance.
• Ensures Business Application documentation, including and not limited to user guides, process flows, and training materials, are properly updated and disseminated on a regular basis.
• Ensures new employees receive business application usage training as applicable.
• As applicable, after hours may be necessary to support after hours deployments, changes, or major incident response.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of business application management and support experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or another related field.
• Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, Atlassian Jira and/or Salesforce.

The position may require occasional availability for after-hours work, outside of regularly scheduled hours.
The position may require ability to periodically drive to and from clients, conferences and / or events; and / or limited travel.

Physical Demands
