About this role

Due to continued growth in our retrofit and decarbonisation programmes, Connolly Ltd is looking for a Retrofit Officer to join our Social Housing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in retrofit, energy efficiency and quality assurance. Working across occupied properties throughout the North West, you'll support the delivery of SHDF and TrustMark-registered projects, helping ensure works are completed compliantly, safely and to the highest standards.

The Role

As Retrofit Officer, you'll support the delivery of retrofit projects by carrying out site inspections, reviewing installation evidence, monitoring quality standards and maintaining compliance with PAS 2030, PAS 2035 and TrustMark requirements.

Working closely with Retrofit Manager, Site Managers and operational teams, you'll help ensure projects are delivered right first time and successfully handed over.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting site inspections and quality assurance activities

• Reviewing retrofit designs, specifications and installation records

• Monitoring workmanship and identifying defects or compliance issues

• Collecting and reviewing photographic and installation evidence

• Maintaining accurate property records and document control

• Supporting audits and compliance requirements

• Working closely with site teams, Retrofit Coordinators and project stakeholders

• Assisting with final inspections and project handovers

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Strong IT and administration skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Professional approach when working within occupied homes

Desirable

• Experience within Social Housing, construction or refurbishment

• Knowledge of PAS 2030, PAS 2035 or TrustMark requirements

• Understanding of retrofit and energy efficiency measures

• Experience carrying out inspections or reviewing project documentation
