Your new role
As an Automation Test Engineer, you’ll take ownership of automated testing across our SaaS platform, working closely with developers, product owners and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases. You’ll develop and maintain Playwright automation frameworks and test suites using TypeScript/JavaScript, covering front-end UI and API testing. You’ll also integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, support regression and cross-browser testing, investigate defects, analyse test results and champion quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Ensuring your success
To succeed in this role, you’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in front-end web automation using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, ideally within a SaaS environment. You’ll have strong experience across UI, regression, cross-browser and API testing, including REST/GraphQL, as well as experience with Page Object Models, reusable test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll be comfortable working in an Agile environment alongside developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts. An ISTQB/ISEB qualification or relevant degree would be advantageous, as would experience with tools such as Quality Center or Zephyr.
