About this role
North Mahaska Community School District is seeking caring, dependable, and student-centered individuals to serve as Paraeducators at both the Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School levels. Multiple positions are available. Paraeducators work closely with teachers and school staff to support student learning, provide academic and behavioral assistance, supervise students, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities may include working with individual students or small groups, assisting with classroom activities, monitoring student progress, and supporting daily school operations. Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children is preferred but not required
