Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor
• High school diploma or GED
• Basketball knowledge and experience
• Coaching or playing experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Concussion training, if required
• Ability to work with high-school students
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership and teamwork skills
• Ability to plan and run practices
• Knowledge of basketball rules and strategies
• Ability to teach fundamental skills
• Good organization and time-management skills
• Dependable and responsible
• Positive attitude and strong sportsmanship
• Commitment to player development and safety
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and school staff
