The Opportunity: The Bilingual Lunch & Recess Aide supports students during lunch, recess, and related transitions throughout the school day. The aide will actively supervise students, engage them in play and age-appropriate activities, and help organize and manage groups of students in a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and actively engage students during lunch and recess.

• Organize and facilitate games, activities, and play.

• Support smooth transitions and help maintain safe, orderly spaces.

• Build positive relationships with a diverse student population across PreK–8.

• Communicate effectively with students and staff in both Spanish and English.

• Help students resolve minor conflicts and encourage respectful behavior.

• Support a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

• Clean cafeteria tables and help to get them reset for subsequent lunch periods.

• Help prepare the cafeteria for lunch.

Qualifications: Fluency in Spanish and English; experience working with children preferred.
