LOCATION: Administration Office, 600 Edgewood Drive, Maumelle, AR 72113 Academics Plus Charter Schools, Inc. (APCSI) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Registrar for the 2026-2027 school year. The position of the Registrar is to oversee student records; provide student information to authorized parties; manage the lottery database; and provide general clerical support, information, and/or direction as may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Knowledge of Arkansas Public School Computer Network preferred.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment background checks.
REPORTS TO: Curriculum Coordinator ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• APCSI's eSchool System Administrator and creates eSchool access for personnel.
• SIS Cycle Coordinator for cycles 2-7.
• Maintains Triand permissions.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records.
• Accesses student information for the purpose of organizing and managing data to provide information as needed or requested.
• Provides and coordinates training to school office personnel in the area of the student enrollment process, withdrawals, records, scheduling as well as other eSchool training as needed.
• Communicates with parents, staff and students concerning APCSI's vision, goals, and educational programs for the purpose of promoting APCSI to new families.
• Manages all APCSI inactive student files for the purpose of providing enrollment and/or release information to schools as requested.
• Ensures eSchool information is properly and timely updated.
• Maintains the APCSI Calendar and updates the website as needed.
• Maintains the State Required information on the website.
• Verifies incoming deposits.
• Responds to inquiries from a wide variety of internal and external parties (e.g. staff, other school districts, students, state and federal agencies, and the general public) for the purpose of providing information, documentation, materials, and/or direction.
• Maintains the Annual Report for APCSI.
• Ensures accreditation standards are met.
• Ensures student records are up to date and accurate.
• Gathers information for Standards Review.
• Maintains the lottery process by communicating the process, receiving applications, maintaining the waitlist and communicating with school personnel as well as parents/guardians concerning acceptance.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, visitors and staff.
• Maintains a positive attitude and represent the school in a positive manner at all times.
• Cross trains in the duties of the Human Resource Officer.
• Maintains transportation documentation to include bus inspections, scheduling buses, ensuring drivers' records are in compliance and maintaining the mileage logs on all student transportation.
• All other duties as assigned.
