POSITIONS AVAILABLE High Schools - 4 Middle Schools - 4 Elementary Schools - 5 PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist the Migrant Coordinator in providing supplemental instructional services that support and encourage grade level promotion and achievement on state assessments that lead to on-time graduation and becoming productive members of society. Along with services provided, the teacher/tutor will assist in gathering required documentation for the Migrant Program and manage resources efficiently. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree, required Valid Texas Teaching Certificate, preferred Valid Driver's License, required Special Knowledge/Skills: Bilingual; ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately; ability and sensitivity in working with economically disadvantaged children; Reliable transportation at all times Experience: Five (5) years of classroom experience, preferred Workdays: Approximately 175 Non-retirees/(19 hours/week) Retirees/as per TRS rules per month Must have a flexible schedule during school days and hours Hourly Rate: $19.00 (Degreed) or $23.00 (Degreed & Certified Teacher) Pay Date: Biweekly
