Job Title: Campus Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Exemption Status/Test: Nonexempt Reports to: Principal/Director Date Revised: 8/2026 Dept./School: Faulk Early Childhood/Central Office Primary Purpose: Receptionist Under close supervision provide reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the campus office. Administrative Assistant - Director Under moderate supervision organize and manage the routine work activities of a central administrative department office and provide clerical support to a director or department head and other staff members. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills: Proficient keyboarding skills, data entry, word processing, and file maintenance Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions Ability to operate multi-line phone system Ability to operate door system Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing Ability to prioritize workflow to address the multiple needs of the supervisor or the department Basic math skills Experience: At least 1 year of clerical experience in office setting Major Responsibilities and Duties: Reception and Phones

• Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.

• Greet and direct campus visitors. Maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes.

• Assist parents in checking students in and out of school.

• Prepare and distribute student identification cards, bus passes, and parking stickers.

• Assist with the receipt and distribution of student materials, including homework requests.

• Receive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries.

Records, Reports, and Coorespondence

• Prepare correspondence, forms, reports, manuals, and presentations for the department head and other department staff members.

• Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.

Accounting

• Perform routine bookkeeping tasks and maintain department budget records. Prepare and process department purchase orders and payment authorizations.

• Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and program equipment.

Other

• Provide clerical assistance as needed including assisting with the scheduling of appointments.

• Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.

• Maintain confidentiality.

• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
