About this role
Qualification:
• Must hold a current valid Ohio Teaching Certificate or License • Background knowledge of how to implement an IEP • Successful BCII and FBI background check
Duties:
• Provide one on one or small group education services to students • Maintain effective communication with families and the home school • Prepare work for students • Assist students with academic work • Make accommodations and modifications for students work • Work with the Special Education Supervisor/Principal/teachers at the building to carry out services addressed in the IEP • Meet students in their home, library, mutually decided location, or virtually • Pick up and deliver students' work to their appropriate buildings • Maintain the child's safety at the predetermined location for instruction. • Never leave a child unsupervised, make arrangements with parents only, not students • Abide by all State and Federal Guidelines for all students • Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren City School District Board of Education • Performs any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director of Special Education, Building Principal or his/her designee
Salary: $31.87 per an hour
