About this role

The Pawtucket School Department is seeking applications for Substitute Clerks. This is per diem and no benefits.

IS KNOWLEDGEABLE OF: •Business office etiquette •Communicating with diverse groups •Adapting to changing priorities. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS •High School Diploma; ability to read and write at high school level •Maintain harmonious working relationships with school officials, staff, students, and the general public •Have good communication skills. Ability to understand and respond to oral and written instruction and follow a work schedule Skill at: •attention to detail and completion of work tasks •dependability •speaking to convey information effectively •interpersonal skills •working with individuals and groups •establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work •performing mathematical problems •development of procedures for receiving, storing, distributing, and accounting for supplies and equipment •Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher License/Certificates: •Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Rhode Island driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the District
