District Facilities & Security Support | 8 Hours | 12 Month Calendar | 3:00PM - 11:30 PM Swing Shift Internal Classified employees are not eligible to apply for open positions during their probationary period of employment. Hiring Administrator: Lisa Erickson GENERAL DUTIES Ensure the security, safety and proper building performance of District facilities and systems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
• Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
• Hold a valid certificate in a District approved student intervention system or be able to obtain in 60 days
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Hold a valid Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) certificate or be able to obtain within 30 days
• Hold a valid Oregon driver's license
• Hold a valid First aid/CPR certification or be able to obtain one in 30 days
• General understanding in Fire Panels, HVAC, Refrigeration, Intrusion and access control systems
• Knowledge of regulations governing work within identified trades including rules on safety practices
• Knowledge and skills in building envelope systems i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Experience in security services preferred
