Essential Functions
• Reports during an absence for a specified position which can include teacher, paraprofessional, nurse, clerical position, custodian, or food service worker.
• Follows professional practices consistent with school and system policies
• Acts in a professional manner.
• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Reports in a timely manner to the specified location.
Requirements Valid Georgia professional certification in the assigned teaching field. additional requirements listed at https://www.walton.k12.ga.us/Substitutes.aspx Physical Requirements The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following require the following physical demands: significant lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Job may require exposure to outside weather conditions. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing. Education/Training Must be at least 18 years of age; minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
