Assistant Band Director (Supplement $2,100) Responsibilities:
• * Assist the Band Director with the operation of the high school band program. • * Support rehearsals, performances, competitions, concerts, and other scheduled band activities. • * Provide instructional assistance to students in individual, sectional, and full-ensemble settings as assigned. • * Assist with marching band rehearsals, including music, marching fundamentals, drill, and field preparation. • * Help supervise students during rehearsals, performances, trips, and other band-related activities. • * Assist with setup, breakdown, transportation, and organization of instruments, equipment, uniforms, and other materials. • * Support appropriate student behavior, safety, and adherence to school and district expectations. • * Attend designated after-school, evening, weekend, and summer band activities as agreed upon with the Band Director. • * Assist with communication and coordination related to performances, trips, and special events as needed. • * Perform other reasonable band-program duties assigned by the Band Director consistent with the scope of the stipend position.
