Monthly Salary State Salary Schedule $4,179 - $6,709, (plus 11.5% local supplement) FLSA EXEMPT
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or higher
• Two years of relevant work experience
Areas of Responsibility The District Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the data and Student Information System (SIS) for the 11,500 students in Lincoln County Schools. The District Data Manager manages the collection, organization, input, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of student, school, and teacher level data to help inform operational and academic decisions. The District Data Manager coordinates the work of three 12-month high school data managers and nineteen 11-month elementary/middle school data managers.
Job Functions and Duties Include but not limited to the following:
• Oversee student information system, Infinite Campus, by working with school level data managers and other school-based staff to ensure that all data is collected accurately and on time
• Enforce policies and procedures that establish the ownership of data, timing and process for data collection, and auditing of data
• Coordinate training in Infinite Campus for all users
• Serve as liaison with all data vendors and external consultants
• Provide technical support to school sites and district staff in the use of student data systems and data entry of various student records
• Troubleshoot system problems; coordinate and arrange for major repairs as necessary; confer with technical support personnel to resolve malfunctions
• Assure accuracy and timely submission of student data; create and disseminate special reports for schools, faculty and the district staff as requested.
• Plan, organize and recommend priorities for smooth and timely operations relating to computerized records; coordinate procedures and problem resolution; support key users school sites
• Assist in preparing a variety of periodic and special reports such as attendance, schedules, grades and student demographic data.
• Review and verify the accuracy of completed work including forms, correspondence and various student documents for completeness and compliance with applicable laws, codes, regulations and procedures; maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information
• Conduct statistical analysis of school information and student achievement data to prepare regular reports, presentations, and school performance summaries for leadership team
• Work with School Data Managers to complete selected data reporting requirements for Lincoln County Schools
• Oversee any data reporting issues by coordinating with external agencies
• Improve accessibility of data and training/support on data portals
• Must be able to perform heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of forces frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift objects
• Other duties as assigned
