Skills and Qualifications: Trade qualification in Industrial Painting 5 years’ experience in Industrial painting. Understanding of different paint types and their applications and proficiency in various painting methods. Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the painting trade. Knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application and disposal. Skill in the preparation and application of paints and surface preparation materials to a wide variety of surfaces. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints Job responsibilities: Applies paints and surface preparatory materials as appropriate and ensuring compliance with hazardous materials guidelines. Operates spray equipment and other small power equipment. Works well with other team members to complete projects assigned in the allotted time. Safely dispose of all waste that’s generated during this process Inspects work for completeness and quality. Ensures that all safety standards are maintained throughout each job
