We are seeking a full time Admin Call Handler to join the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT). the CRHTT provides a 24/7 crisis service to the people of Oxfordshire who are experiencing a mental health crisis. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration call handler to provide high-quality administrative support within our growing team.

You will be well organised, flexible, and able to communicate confidently, calmly and professionally with patients, carers and staff.

This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, worked over a range of shifts on alternate weeks: 08:00am-4:00pm and 12:00pm-8:00pm, with one Saturday shift worked on alternate weeks.

This post is based on site at Manzil Way Resource Centre.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive administrative service to the CRHTT. Maintain diaries and records which include arranging appointments and meetings, preparing papers and taking / distributing minutes of meetings as needed. Receive and deal with correspondence and take appropriate action. Receive telephone calls using a high level of initiative and respond in a confidential and sensitive way. Take action in an appropriate way following calls. Calls may include those received from distressed patients or carers and / or involve handling extremely sensitive and confidential information. Calls may be of an emergency nature from other professionals or service users. Ensure that any activity or outcomes databases are kept up to date and that all clinical data is entered accordingly. Ensure that patient related documentation is entered into electronic health records with high degree of accuracy and completeness. You will work closely with the team to ensure all referrals are processed efficiently, data entry is accurately gathered and recorded and the service has administrative support.
