About this role

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Bury Hub. - We are recruiting for an experienced administrator to support the smooth running of our ambulance station.

In this critical role you will support the Operational Managers with their administration, in order to allow them greater capacity to carry out their broader operational duties.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will include looking after all the administrative duties to facilitate the smooth running of the stations.

Main duties include;

Being the single point of contact for staff queries Liaising with Payroll Minute Taking Facilitating planning for staff to attend training Produce reports as and when required

Person Specification

Knowledge, Training, and Experience Essential

Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification, or significant equivalent previous proven experience. Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems. UK Driving Licence with access to a car.

Desirable

Experience of working in a health care environment. Awareness of a range of Health Services provisions. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Knowledge of NHS issues. Understanding of Data Protection legislation.

Clear communicator with good writing, data entry, and telephone skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Problem solving skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and trust. Flexible approach to work Good time keeping. Note-taking skills.
