Job summary Package Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to take the lead at our CQC-registered Widmore Road Learning Disability respite service in Bromley. Join us on a 3-month fixed-term contract to November 2026, with potential for extension. This role is 40 hours per week, including working alternate weekends to the team leader at the service. Your key responsibilities include: Delivering Outstanding Care Ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs. Driving Quality & Compliance Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring the Brook Street service meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services at all times. Leading & Developing Teams Providing day-to-day leadership to the staff team, ensuring effective management, clear direction, and ongoing support to maintain high standards of care and support delivery. Ensuring Accountability Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints, while working closely with the Locality Manager to drive continuous improvement and ensure ongoing compliance across the service.

Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team. Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service. Driving Licence and access to a vehicle. Qualifications Essential
Previous experience as a Registered Manager, experience within the Learning Disability sector, leadership and management skills, understanding of CQC requirements, communication and decision-making skills, flexibility in working hours, driving licence, and 12 months remaining on the Right to work in the UK.
