Job summary ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. ABOUT YOU You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.

Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester, you will be responsible for looking after the different needs of residents to ensure the delivery of quality, person-centred care and support. This role requires supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also support the clinical team in tasks such as medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews. The position is for night shifts only, from 8pm to 8am, four nights per week, including alternate weekends. Candidates need to possess an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
