This post is part time - 0.8 FTEPlease note that due to the nature of this role 'in person' working at the dedicated PCN offices is a requirement.The Digital Transformation Team at Folkestone, Hythe and Rural PCN is expanding, offering an opportunity for a highly experienced individual to work with a passionate and friendly team of motivated digital professionals in the ongoing delivery of our innovative PCN Digital Transformation Programme.
We are looking for the right candidate to apply their significant experience of PCN digital transformation to hit the ground running in fulfilling this role within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
This role will be pivotal in maintaining and evolving the PCN's digital operating model, supporting its users on a daily basis and providing a robust reporting and analytical function across the PCN, its constituent practices and the system partners that we work with.
The PCN and its practices are excited to be embarking on some significant digital infrastructure projects over the next year which the successful applicant to this post will take the lead on.

The Digital Transformation Lead will report into the Digital Transformation Manager in order to inform, evolve and deliver a robust and efficient Digital Transformation Programme.
As well as supporting and maintaining the digital operating model itself the role involves directly supporting staff, providing a population health driven reporting and analytical function as well as driving digital innovation through the successful delivery of digital transformation projects.
Person Specification
Knowledge and skills Essential
Excellent data analysis skills. Expert user of Microsoft Excel. Expert user of EMIS Web and EMIS Clinical Service/PCN Hub, including system configuration, population reporting and user management modules. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (including the delivery of presentations to large groups). Expert user of online consultation, messaging and document workflow systems utilised within the NHS with the ability to configure and support. Highly organised with a pragmatic approach to delivering key objectives. Excellent interpersonal skills. Self-motivating with the ability to work autonomously where required. A passion for successfully problem solving issues arising.
Qualifications Essential
A Degree level qualification or equivalent experience. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrable continuous professional development.
Desirable
An accredited project or programme management qualification. A Masters level qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience Essential
Significant experience in the delivery of NHS digital transformation projects in Primary Care. An in-depth knowledge of all facets of the Primary Care digital operating model and how it interfaces with wider NHS system partners. Experience of working with information governance/data protection requirements and process within the NHS. Experience of working with a team of PCN digital professionals. Significant experince in supporting digital system users of all levels of ability.
Desirable
Experience in delivering and supporting federated working initiatives such as online consultation, document processing and pathology hubs at PCN or GP Federation level. Formal experience in digital application training.
