Manor Medical Practice based at Allerton and Girlington are looking for a Salaried GP for at least 6 sessions a week, Wed - Fri. We are a friendly, supportive, 3 partner training practice, committed to delivering high quality care.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable GP to join our well established Team. A GP who will play an active role within our team to maintain our high quality service and help develop patient services in the future.

Preferably with an interest in Women's health.

Home Visits as part of the Clinical Visiting Team

We would be happy to speak with interested candidates and arrange an informal visit by request.

Manor Medical Practice is a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking GP surgery based in the city of Bradford. We care for a growing list of over 11,000 patients across two sites in Girlington and Allerton.

Led by three GP Partners and supported by Salaried GPs, GP Registrars, and a wide multidisciplinary team including Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacist, etc. We offer a full range of primary care services. These include chronic disease management, minor surgery, family planning, maternity care, immunisations, and health screening.

Job description Job responsibilities

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.

Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications Essential

Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Full GMC Registration National Performers List registration Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU) Eligibility to practice in the UK independently

Desirable

IT proficiency and familiarity with SystmOne Clinical System. Experience of QOF and clinical audit. Experience of medicines management Experience of CCG initiatives

Experience Essential

Experience of working in a primary care environment Experience of continued professional development Experience of QOF and clinical audit Minimum of two years as a salaried GP Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Strong IT skills Clear, polite telephone manner Competent in the use of Office and Outlook EMIS / Systmone / Vision user skills Effective time management (Planning & Organising) Ability to work as a team member and autonomously Excellent interpersonal skills Problem solving & analytical skills Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure Experience with audit and able to lead audit programmes Experience with clinical risk management
