About this role

Job summary

We are looking for an EPR Project Manager to join the Patient Services team with a particular focus on the implementation of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and Patient Administration System (PAS).

We're looking for experienced professionals to help design and implement the administration processes in preparation for a groupwide Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation at Humber Health Partnership.

This is a high-impact role focused on delivering tangible digital and operational improvements that benefit both patients and staff.

This role is primarily based at Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, with flexibility to work across sites in Hull and on occasion on the South Bank.

What We're Looking For:

Ideally, proven experience of project management or management of operational teams --ready to hit the ground running and lead digital change

Strong stakeholder skills and adaptability

NHS experience preferred but not essential for the right candidates

Prince 2 or equivalent operational experience is advantageous

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of EPR project support officers within Patient Services.

Ensuring processes and procedures are clearly documented to enable streamlined processes to be embedded to the new systems.

Define project scope and outcomes, manage expectations, and guide your project team confidently.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS and partner agencies

Produce clear, accurate reports and manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate and escalate issues and risks as needed

Work with the EPR project team and attend meetings within the governance structure of the programme.

Lead process redesign, partnering with clinical and admin teams to optimise system

Deliver systems integration, working with end users and the Integration Manager

Oversee multiple projects across varied teams and departments

Work with existing Operational Support Managers in Patient Services and provide operational cover as and when required and available to do so.

Ensure compliance with Trust governance and policies

Communicate effectively and consistently throughout project lifecycle
