Job summary
This is a fixed term post for full time hours. We are looking for someone with admin experience who is really keen to support the pathway of our cancer patients by facilitating the cancer multidisciplinary meetings. You will need to be organised, have great attention to detail and be proactive in chasing information from other hospitals. Excellent language skills are a must- you will need to review clinic letters and MDT requests and understand the information presented. We are a supportive team who welcome keen and enthusiastic team members- full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
Managing a busy email account, Requesting scans and pathology from other Trusts, Finding missing clinical information. Producing accurate and detailed meeting lists and reports, documenting outcomes clearly and ensuring they are disseminated to clinical teams swiftly. Attendance at clinical decision making meetings as well as pathway meetings. Updating of the cancer database and tracking patients through their pathway
