This newly created post presents a genuinely exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced and effective marketing and engagement professional to lead the charge on a high-profile national brand aimed at making a real difference to real people.
We have a unique opportunity to improve the health of the population in Wales through the successful activation of 'Hapus', a brand aimed at helping people protect and improve their mental wellbeing.
The post holder will lead the marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement activities for a fixed period, establishing clear and effective ways of working across the established and growing Hapus supporter network, which spans national arts and heritage organisations, charities and community initiatives.

Main duties of the job
This senior role will lead on the development and implementation of new ways of working, reviewing, updating and implementing the existing strategic communications plan.
You will take ownership of our brand as we establish it as a household name in Wales and as the go-to resource for people looking to protect and improve their mental wellbeing. You will supervise a small team of marketing professionals.
You will be a marketing professional with significant experience of leading campaigns and engagement aimed at promoting a positive impact.
You will work closely with our internal and external stakeholders such as the Public Health Wales Communications Team, Hapus strategic partners and supporters, Welsh Government, Local Public Health Teams, Health Boards, the third sector and of course, the public.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

o Extensive knowledge of marketing, campaigns or communications strategy acquired through a Master's degree, post graduate diploma or demonstrable equivalent learning

o Experience of health or wellbeing related marketing, communication and engagement within an in-house or agency team
o Significant experience of leading campaigns at a regional or national level
