Up to £25 per hour, depending on experience

Main duties of the job As an Pre-Op Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

Pre Operative Assessing patients undergoing a variety of operations.

We require you to have a good knowledge of history taking , understand the variety of procedures performed , health assessment and promotion and treat the patient in a holistic manner that incorporates a thorough assessment of the patients health condition , social circumstances and post operative recovery .

Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service

As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery

Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care

Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family

Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care

Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities

Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

Located in the heart of the West End of Glasgow; you will be working at one of Scotland's leading private hospitals. This year, we embarked on phase three of our multi-million-pound refurbishment, adding state of the art equipment like our Mako robotic arm for orthopedic surgery and a new ambulatory theatre. Qualifications Essential
