Job SummaryThis position is located at USAG Benelux- MWR, The Hub Recreation Center, Brunssum, Netherlands. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: The ability to perform the following duties: secure facility, issue equipment to customers, collect fees (ex: registration for trip, payment of rented equipment etc.), and monitor inventory (ex. Supplies, equipment etc.) Must possess and have the ability to maintain a valid driver's license. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, make sound decisions, have strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Experience organizing, planning and conducting, special events, leisure and recreation activities while demonstrating knowledge of and implementing the appropriate goals, principles, techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of the Army MWR mission and the entire scope of Community Recreation activities, their function, and their suitability for individuals, groups, ages and interests. Ability to maintain records, compile and organize data for reports, and perform research on recreation topics for dissemination to customers. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager. Major DutiesOpens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable.Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users.Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits.Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage.
