Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1). Lead interagency working groups to synchronize efforts to secure major program funding streams; 2). Identify issues for current and future impacts on the organization to conduct analysis of their implications and alternatives; 3). Plan and assign work to personnel to meet organizational deadlines; and 4). Provide guidance regarding broad national security policies and strategic directives to ensure integration and compliance throughout the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14 or above). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
Major DutiesProvide guidance regarding broad national security policies and strategy directives to ensure integration and compliance throughout the organization.Coordinate changes to programs throughout the budget planning cycle with applicable executive-level resource managers.Build consensus among domestic and international stakeholders.Lead interagency working groups and strategic resource summits to synchronize efforts to secure major program funding streams.Direct the systemic evaluation of efficiencies of each activity and effectiveness regarding the Theater Strategic Objectives to make decisions on revised priorities in subsequent cycles of the Strategic Planning Process.Identify issues for current and future impacts on the organization to conduct analysis of their implications and alternatives.Supervise civilian, military, and contractor personnel assigned to the Security Cooperation Division.Evaluate performance of subordinate staff members.Plan and assign work to personnel to meet organizational deadlines.
