QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: No work experience required. Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire. Must be able to communicate in English (both written and verbal). Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry 40 pounds, walk, bend and stoop and stand on a routine basis. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
Major DutiesProvides guests with local information concerning available programs and activities, making individual reservations, answering questions concerning any aspect of operated facilities and providing prompt, courteous service in any area requested.Prepares marketing materials for leisure activity programs. Receive payments, issues receipts as required, documents business transactions through computer posting entries and process retail sales through cash register.Receives payments, issues receipts as required, documents business transactions through computer posting entries, process retail sales through cash register, ensure proper internal control procedures on key issues, money transactions.Must be familiar with all programs offered by the activity, as well as with local area as the job requires providing a lot of information to guests. Always maintain a positive attitude around and towards guests.May serve as a facilitator with the children's program providing sports and recreation activities, such as, arts and crafts, hiking, etc... Ensures that activities are conducted in a well-organized and safe manner.
