Job Summary
Applies acquired job skills to work on tasks that are semi-routine in nature. Focus is on semi-routine tasks within standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.
Responsibilities
Supports the team with coordinating large customer deliveries and resolving shipping or receiving issues, keeping records/logs of all materialsApplies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasksWorks on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practiceNormally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments Documentation & System Updates
Coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination and obtains sign-off for receiptInforms recipients that goods ordered have been delivered Shipping & Receiving
Maintains records of materials received and shipped, within a semi-routine scopeReceives goods delivered to the Data Center either directly or following acceptance by securityEnters all relevant details of all inbound/outbound shipments and ensures order requirements are fulfilledUses shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipmentsInspects received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items where necessary Problem Solving
Proactively works and communicates with internal/external customers to ensure on-time deliveriesMay assist with resolving difficult shipping and receiving issues Inventory Management
Hazardous Materials
Follows established procedures on hazardous materials, requires supervision on new assignmentsFollows and complies with hazardous materials within semi-routine protocols, as described by regional regulatory bodies Equipment
Tracks stored and/or abandoned equipmentUses the aging shipment business processes/tools for Shipments over 5 days, 14 days, 30 days and 90 days Data Center Support
Assists with delivering and removal of customers equipment from cages through the use of established proceduresWhen requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request, assists with packing customers equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the Data Center Qualifications
