Who we're looking for

Toyota's Product Profit Lifecycle Management (PPLM) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support full vehicle lifecycle profitability by managing cost and revenue from early concept through production; which includes Cost Planning, Cost Management, and Forecasting functions. It plays a key role in Toyota's transition to enterprise profit-focused operations by delivering financial insights that inform development decisions and our long-term mobility strategy.

Reporting to the Manager of Product Lifecycle Management - Truck & Large SUV, the person in this role will support the PPLM department's objective of end-to-end product profitability management and decision support across the entire vehicle lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

Support Product Lifecycle Financial Analysis

Support profitability studies for vehicle programs from early concept through productionDevelop profitability analyses, financial estimates, and business case evaluationsSupport enterprise cost planning activities for new model programsCoordinate cost planning schedules and milestone deliverablesAnalyze cost planning activities including target development, cost forecasting, assumptions management, and financial modelingSupport executive decision making through financial analysis and reportingEnterprise Target Management (Product Lifecycle Champion - PLC Activity)

Support development of vehicle profit targets and enterprise cost targetsMonitor target achievement and drive functional recovery actionsSupport cost reduction activities throughout the product lifecycleFinancial Performance & Forecasting

Compare Cost Planning, Pricing, Budget, and Actual performanceAnalyze profitability drivers, cost variances, and financial risksPrepare executive financial reviews and management reportingDevelop vehicle profitability forecasts and scenario analysisCross-functional Program Support

Coordinate with Product Management, Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and FinanceSupport cross-functional meetings and project coordinationSupport program approval milestones and executive reviewsEnsure alignment of financial assumptions across stakeholdersProcess Improvement & Analytics

Develop standardized financial tools, templates, and dashboardsImprove lifecycle management processes and reporting capabilitiesSupport continuous improvement initiativesEnhance analytical methods and financial systems What you bring

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related fieldExperience in Product or Program Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Strategic Cost/Profit Analysis, or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)Strong financial modeling, forecasting, business case development, and investment analysis skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into actionable business recommendationsExperience supporting executive-level presentations and communicating financial insights to diverse stakeholdersProven success supporting cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Logistics, and FinanceAdvanced Excel skills (e.g., XLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial models) and experience with data visualization toolsAbility to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAbility to travel up to 5% of the time Added bonus if you have
