About this role
Overview To provide a variety of administrative support functions in support of the daily operations of the Personal Finance Management Branch. Evaluate and research inquiries from internal/external sources and/or members; respond to, resolve or arrange for resolution. May serve as contact coordinator by handling phone calls, advising members to complete online forms, and/or schedule financial counseling appointments, or refer member to appropriate staff member.
Responsibilities
Maintain data files, folders, spreadsheets, and related documentationMonitor, sort, and distribute correspondence, E-mail, incoming mail, faxes, E-messages, and internal oral communicationIdentify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and/or processing issues, including documentation and time-sensitive issuesMonitor, track, and update action items in databasesComplete data entry in automated systemsGather and prepare data for various reports and projectsReview counseling notes, modification requests and data; take appropriate actionRespond to and process proposals from outside debt management agenciesAct as liaison for outside debt management agenciesOperate and maintain standard office equipmentMaintain inventory, order and stock office materials and suppliesServe as mentor/trainer, and provide guidance and assistance to team membersPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications
