We are seeking someone to join our Finance Shared Services - LEC External Reporting team as a Vice President in the Finance Division.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. This is a Vice President level position within the Controllers Reporting & Accounting Job family.

What you'll do in the role: Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the FirmResponsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segmentProactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating themAct as a role model and culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standardsProvide leadership, guidance, and monitor resources to meet the following objectivesConduct in-depth analysis of variances, incorporating the understanding of accounting issues, economic events and their impact, and present the financial results to Senior Management and US / EMEA Regulatory AgenciesAssist in driving process efficiencies and continuous process improvement efforts to strengthen controlsExecute report pre-submission checks, implement control procedures, and review regulatory reporting requirementsMaintain a consolidated list of adjustment details by report and participate in data quality improvement projects to strengthen controls, improve report accuracy and reduce manual adjustmentsLead/participate in other special projects and ad-hoc requests as neededExecute and review key reporting controls (cross filing reconciliations, variance analysis)Prepare and store control evidence for the centralized report populationPrepare due diligence review decks and review with key stakeholdersReview and update relevant policies and proceduresParticipate in regulatory exams, internal audits and address inquiries as requiredContinually monitor developments in regulatory rule/reporting changes and assist Corporate Finance functions in implementing and meeting the reporting requirementsExecute ad-hoc projects to support reporting automation initiatives and regulatory reporting changesProvide ongoing guidance and mentorship to team members
What you'll bring to the role: Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environmentAbility to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team membersAbility to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risksExperience in managing, developing and leading teamsDemonstrated ability to communicate in verbal/writing and present complex issues to various audiences in an easy-to-understand mannerStrong communication skills - clear, concise, and appropriate method of deliveryExperience with establishing and meeting critical deadlines, as well as tracking and driving executionFlexibility to change priorities as new situations present themselvesRisk awareness and good guardianship skillsCollaborative team player with a strong work ethic that works effectively in a cross-functional team environmentChartered Accountant or equivalent specialization in Finance streamPreferred 10+ years of finance experience in the financial services industry (regulatory reporting, financial and product control, liquidity, treasury)Regulatory and compliance knowledge with financial background and risk management is a plusStrong stakeholder managementResponsible for Quarterly and Annual Financial Statement preparationExecute projects to support automation initiatives through AI and Digital tooling
