As a Technical Superintendent in Rotterdam, you will manage the technical condition and maintenance of a tugboat fleet. You will work with crews, contractors and suppliers in an environment where both Dutch and English are used. This is a mainly on-site position. Where You'll Work Working closely with onboard crews, operations, internal departments and suppliers, you will connect day-to-day technical troubleshooting with long-term maintenance and investment planning. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will help ensure that the vessels remain safe, operational and compliant with classification society rules, flag state requirements and statutory regulations. You will also identify improvements to technical maintenance that support the fleet's environmental objectives. What You'll Do - Develop and maintain the annual technical plan, including short- and long-term maintenance and investment planning for OPEX and CAPEX. - Coordinate the maintenance schedule with the Operations department and verify that planned work meets operational requirements. - Ensure that the technical management of the fleet complies with classification society rules, flag state requirements and statutory regulations. - Prepare and coordinate repair and drydock projects, including planning, specifications, tendering, evaluation, contract award and resource planning. - ...
