Het Olympiadehuis is a small residential care center for 34 elderly people with physical disabilities and/or dementia, located right in the Oud-Goverwelle neighborhood. Every Tuesday afternoon, we go out for a walk with our residents. At other times, volunteers also walk individually with a resident. Do you enjoy walking and are you available on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM? Or do you have time at other times during the week? Through Palet Welzijn, as a volunteer, you are offered a free membership to Vierstroom Ledenservice and a nice token of appreciation twice a year. There is also an offer for training and personal guidance. Het Olympiadehuis and its residents actively seek connection with the neighborhood. Family also plays an important role in daily life. Together, we ensure that residents feel comfortable, safe, and secure in their living environment.
