The business is backed by an investment company and is entering its next phase of growth, professionalisation and integration. The organisation is growing both organically and through acquisitions. Its strategic agenda is focused on further growth, digitalisation, operational excellence, commercial development and capturing synergies across the different business units. Position The CFO is a member of the management team and a key strategic partner to the CEO and shareholder. In addition to overall responsibility for Finance, the CFO plays a broad role in the further development of the organisation, with responsibility for areas including IT, governance and various support functions. - The CFO combines strong financial control with an entrepreneurial mindset and plays an active role in strategic decision-making, M&A and integration; - Statutory Director and strategic partner to the CEO, management team and shareholder; - Overall financial responsibility for the Group, including cash flow, working capital, investments, forecasting and performance management; - Lead and further professionalise Finance and the supporting functions, including IT, HR and Legal; - Responsible for consolidated management reporting and primary point of contact for the shareholder, banks and other financial stakeholders; - Translate strategy and growth plans into financial impact, multi-year forecasts and robust business cases; - Further develop the Finance organisation, systems and management information, including ERP harmonisation and KPI dashboards; - Play an active role in M&A, from identifying and assessing acquisition targets and financial due diligence through to integration and the realisation of synergies...
