Senior Depositary Oversight Officer Department: Fund Depositary Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis) • Build strong customer relaionships with existing and new clients, external providers to gain an insight into their needs and ensure we deliver customer-centric solutions. • In charge of a portfolio of clients investing in Real Estate & Private Equity, Debt, Fund of Funds products. • Assist the Manager during the client's onboarding process ensuring smooth on boarding of customers. • In charge of Oversight controls and due diligence on third parties (AIFM, Central Administration, Custodian Bank, etc.) • Timely performance of oversight duties, Supervision of the activity and transactions of funds in compliance with applicable laws and regulations (AIFMD, SIF, SICAR, RAIF) • Collect and review relevant transactional documents and ensures ownership chain. • Preparation and insurance of the year-end asset positions. • Assist the Manager in the preparation and issuance of the periodical internal reports on the fund's portfolio. • Give regular feedback to the superior and escalate without delay and risks identified. • Ensure timely billing and recovery of outstanding invoices. • Responsibility for safeguarding and verifying the ownership of assets and monitor the performance of cash flow activities, to include the oversight checks and control of valuations. • Ensure compliance with the AIFMD requirements and keep up to date with legislation, professional standards and regulatory changes affecting the Luxembourg domiciled funds, safeguarding us from potential risks. • Highlight and report complaints, operational risks, suspicions in accordance with our local procedures. Requirements • 4-5 years' experience in the area of depositary/custody function gained in a depositary bank or similar experience gained in audit or fund accounting role • Private Equity / Real Estate markets experience • Fund accounting experience (desirable) • Knowledge of the regulatory environment for depositaries • Fluent in English with French or German an advantage • Preferably a University Degree in Finance or Accounting
